In the wake of Hurricane Milton, flooding continues to pose challenges across our 18-county region, particularly in the Middle St. Johns River Basin (Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia counties). While some areas have crested, water levels remain elevated, with gradual recession expected.

Beginning today and continuing through the weekend, coastal areas of the District, as well as the Lower St. Johns River Basin (Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, Clay, Duval, and Nassau counties), will experience coastal and riverine flooding due to strong onshore winds combined with high astronomical tides. These conditions will not affect the ongoing riverine flooding in central Florida.

We urge residents to stay informed about current conditions. Up-to-date river levels can be checked on our website at www.sjrwmd.com.
