Lake Jesup Restoration Event Sept. 28th

Join the Seminole County Watershed Management Division, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, St. Johns Water Management District, & Seminole County Sheriff’s Office for our 3rd Lake Jesup Restoration event on September 28th, 2013, from 9am to noon! Work alongside biologists to plant native eelgrass in this important waterway. Volunteers must be at least 10 yrs old, and wear closed-toe shoes. Please note that we will be working in the water for the duration of the event. Meet us at Black Hammock Adventures, 2356 Black Hammock Fish Camp Rd, Oviedo, FL 32765 (; they are generously providing air boat transportation to the planting location!
