Free Waste Tire Collection Events are held at the Central Transfer Station and Seminole County Landfill. These events offer residential households FREE disposal of up to five (5) tires. Only two (2) customers from different households per vehicle for a maximum of ten (10) tires per vehicle.

The events at both locations are from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Up to four (4) tires can be disposed during normal operating hours at the Central Transfer Station at $1.00 per tire. Up to ten (10) tires can be disposed of at the Landfill for $1.00 per tire. A load containing more than 10 (ten) tires or an unlimited number can be disposed of at the Landfill at $100.00 per ton. (Please note that a permit is required from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to transport more than 25 waste tires.)
