DEP to host online Blue-Green Algae Task Force meeting

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is hosting an online meeting of the Blue-Green Algae Task Force on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020.

The Blue-Green Algae Task Force is charged with expediting progress toward reducing the adverse impacts of blue-green algal blooms. During this meeting, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will present its Algal Bloom Risk Performance Metric, which will be discussed by the task force. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view the task force meeting and comment by registering for the meeting through this link. The registration link can also be found on the Protecting Florida Together website.
